Am I charged for cancelling a trip?

Cancellation fees pay driver-partners for the time and effort they spend getting to your location. There are certain scenarios where cancellation fees apply - these are outlined below.
To help ensure smooth pick-ups for riders and driver-partners, we recommend riders only request a ride when they are near the pick-up location and ready to ride.

Rider-initiated cancels:

With My Ride services we charge a cancellation fee equivalent to the $10 deposit, if you cancel your trip request more than 5 minutes after you’re matched with a driver-partner unless:

Your driver-partner is currently dropping off another rider
Your driver-partner is running late (their current ETA is higher than the initial ETA shown when they accepted your trip request)
Your driver-partner has not made progress to the pick-up location
With My Ride, we charge a cancellation fee if you cancel your trip request more than 60 seconds after you’re matched with a driver-partner.


Driver-initiated cancels:

If your driver cancels a trip after they’ve been waiting at your pickup location for a specific amount of time, your deposit will be credited towards your next My Ride booking. 

My Ride: 10 minutes

If you believe you were charged a cancellation fee in error, email us on support@rameyintech.com

If you had a different issue with your charge, please let us know here and we will review your fare.

Wait time fees

If your trip is cancelled and you are charged a cancellation fee, you will not be charged for wait time.

Your driver will wait 10 minutes.  After 10 minutes, your deposit will not be refunded or credited.

How are fares calculated?

"My Ride", trip fares are calculated after rides end. Here's how these fares work.

FARES
Fare includes (but is not limited to):
-A deposit of $10 with each booking made. (deducted from the final total)
-Tolls, surcharges and fees are INCLUDED

Your fare may increase if you travel to a different destination or make extra stops along the route, or the trip takes much longer than expected.

You'll always get a receipt for any trip fare.

Wait time fees
Wait time fee is calculated based on the time driver-partners spend waiting after they have arrived at the pickup location. Wait time fees are charged automatically and cannot be triggered by driver-partners manually.
